My life in the last month

I have done the following new things:

1) Cooked viki a meal. I think she liked it.

2) Seen Seth Lakeman live-Awesome

3) Seen Regina Spektor live-Awesome also

4) Seen Russell Brand live-Funny as fuck.

5) Sent someone flowers…

6) Actually had a valentine…

7) been happy.

I have done the following old things:

1) Played in the snow with Emm.

2) Ummm…

3) that’s about it.

Hmm. Like most things at the moment, I don’t know why i did this. It just felt like the right thing to do. I lack an aim again. Oh well. FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! I don’t know why i typed that. What is the fucking point, you know what I mean? This whole fucking world is fucked. Too many problems for anyone to deal with. Latest is that people want to ban cluster bombs. A great idea, and one that I am extremely proud to say that this country supports. Cluster bombs are indiscrimate and dangerous weapons. The aerial equivalent of a flamethrower. But the US doesn’t care about that. God, I fucking hate that country. I mean, there’s retarded, and then there’s American. Serisously. I can’t even articulate how much I loathe that one nation. I was learning recently (steady on!) about what US political commentators call “iron triangles”. And they’re where all the power lies. Lobbyists and administration officials and members of congressional committees team up in what appears to be one big session of mutual fellatio, in order to maintain the status quo. And the main example of this abhorrent system is the military industry complex. Members of Congress keep defence spending up, so the companies can get fucking heaps and heaps on money and then its the administrations job to find places to fire these fucking lovely new bombs, and send these new planes, and kill more innocent people, who are only in the army because they can’t afford another profession. I don’t know about you, but knowing that makes me want to take a gun to my head. What is the point?

But if we ignore that MASSIVE FUCKING ELEPHANT in the room that makes my life a misery, I’m alrite, ta, thanks for asking. I am in love with the girl of my dreams, and I have some fucking quality friends, who I really do love. “They say the family of the 21st century is made up of friends not relatives” I think I have the best family around.

And i got things. But i had to go to school. Which was alrite actually. Mainly thanks to the cakes i got. I had one in politics (and a cup of tea!!!), one at break and the best was saved til last, the cake that viki made me!!! I haven’t eaten it yet, but it looks gorgeous. And i got me a new phone! It’s a K750i, which I am loving to the max.
Went out for a meal as well, with family and that. Had some tasty steak and a treacly tart. Shame the restaurant was cold. Thanks to everyone who gave me things, particulary viki for the cake and book and muse ticket!!! and the badge!!! and all the other stuff!!! and for being there.
Today (the day after my birthday, but caley’s birthday, so happy birthday her!) I got up and went up town to do beccis pschology experiment which was nice and fun. Then I went up town, cashed me birthday cheques and bought me some DVDs!!! I got “Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace” and “Sophie Scholl” which looks good and is about the leader of the White Rose Movement (not the band, the anti-nazi student movement).
Another big thank you for people who made my birthday good, particularky joely for calling and viki for the cake and presents.

Berlin 2006 – Education and Alcoholism

POW!!! What a quality trip!!! El vino did flow, along with el jagermeister. But that’s not the whole story…
I awoke bleary eyed on Friday morning to the sound of my phone’s alarm telling me it was 2.45. Not a good time. Me and old Tommy G jumped into the car and pitched up at Turnfurlong at 3.15, before Brooker. Got on the coach, where matt came and sat down next to me. Not much really happened for the next couple of hours, the usual travel non-sense. The fun began once we got actually into Berlin itself. First thing to say: Berlin is BUZZING. After dumping our bags at the Youth Hostel, we wandered off to the Sony Centre. All British cities are lacking something like this. Just a pureky fit building full of gorgeous structures. After grabbing luncheon at an aussie bar, we chipped off down to the Brandenburg Gate, via the haunting Jewish Memorial. Swear down, this was the strangest/most moving place I’ve ever been. Hundreds of grey slabs of varying heights lined up over a massive area. Also, a great place to play hide and seek. We chipped on from there and ended up at the Brandenburg Gate, a really impressive structure. After a hench chip along Unter den Linden we cotched on a boat tour of the city, where I took some quality photos. The real fun came, though, when we went out that night. We missioned out to the Ku’damm,, which used to be the main square in East Germany. After some free time and a lush meal (i had the godly wiener schnitzel), we hit the motherlode. The Irish Bar.
The pictures show it all really. Numerous people got severely smashed, most notably Aidan (not shown), Flegg, Haz and Jake. I personally got pretty hammered, having about 5 Guinness’, 2 Jagers and a Flat Liner (sambuca with tabasco). The after taste of a Flat Liner is diffifult to describe. I think Jake put it best, saying “My mouth tastes like I just licked a girl with some serious problems.” That night was pretty wicked to be honest, as I chatted and bantered with Jake, Jaymin, Haz, Fleggy et al., people who previously wouldn’t have been top off my list to chill with. But trust me when I say those boys know how to party. Jake was absolutely tanked. I was chatting with Fran when we saw Jake and Flegg take 2 Flat Liners each down to a table and knock them both back. Jake’s first comment “POW!!!” I felt kind of bad, as I left Tom and Matt looking really bored, but they probably made the best choice, as I felt godawful the next morning.
The next day, like I said, I felt awful, but I didnt expect much less. After breakfast, we wandered on over to the Reichstag where we queued for ages to grab the lift up to the top to see the wicked dome on top. Well worth the wait. After that wonderful experience, we chipped on over to the East and Alexanderplatz, the drabbiest place that’s ever been drab. Here, I was accosted for a good half hour by some crazy Danish girl trying to get me to join some crazy mentalist left wing group. I honestly have no idea why I appear to be the main target of these people. I left when the singing started and wandered round on my own for a bit before meeting the rest of the group and going to the Checkpoint Charlie Museum, really interesting. Amazing the lengths people went to escape from East to West.
Saturday evening saw the Mexican restaurant/bar. The drinking was reduced, but the banter was of the highest quality and I was sat chatting with Matt, Joe, Fran, Jay, Haz, Jake, Flegg and Mike.
All in all, Berlin 2006 kicked arse. Pictures to come.

Post no. 20 – Not a highlights package

So I’ve reached post no. 20 on this wonderful on wordpress.com blog. I think there are more posts on here than I have had on any other site of this nature. Which is impressive, in my humble opinion.
I haven’t posted on here in time (apologies for the chav language, i am trying to curb my habit), so this will serve as an update to anyone who cares about my life, and he life of those around me. I’m currently at school, in M4 with Jim, Joe and Mole, trying to avoid exploding in a rant at Joe about just how rubbish beatdown is. UGH! Life, however, has been good to me recently, and everyday I find myself falling deeper and deeper in love. With………… MARZIPAN!!!!!! OH! MY! GOD! I knew i liked the almond based icing product before but I have truly and deply fallen for it. Especially as part of a chocolate fondue. Oh, and i’ve fallen in love with viki. But that’s not important :P
On top of this, Borderville have finally put music up on their myspace profile. Check it out here.

My first non-world cup post for a while

I’ve looked back and realised that my last 5 or so posts have been dedicated entirely to the world cup and nothing else. None of the other wonderous joys in my life have been even slightky mentioned

Firstly, i’ve no been going out with Viki for 3 months!!!!!! SCORE!!!! I’m shocked, I thought she’d have realised I’m a loser by now, but it hasnt happened.

Secondly, I HAVE THE NEW MUSE ALBUM!!!!! OMGZZZZZZ!!! It is absolutely awesome. Reccommend tracks include “starlight” “assassin” and “knights of cydonia”.

Spent earlier today in the Tesco’s cafe with kez, jen and their friend Sandy. Jen + Woody=AWWWWW!!!

Looking back at this post, it’s pathetic, just how dull my little life is. Oh well

This Week

I have been wearing mostly black. And been having an AMAZING time.

Monday was alrite at school etc. Things picked up on Tuesday though, when i went on my work shadowing at Sumner and Tabor solicitors. Really nice people there and really interesting stuff to read and do. Tuesday got better when Arsenal went through in the Champions League!!!! GET IN!!!!

Wednesday was spent work shadowing and I had another really great day.

Thursday could have been better could have been worse. We'll call it: so-so.

Friday, however, was awesome. Had a good day at school, and then went to Viki's for the evening. AMAZING!!!!!!! Her family are so fantastic and we had a great time together :P .

Saturday went to my Dads and met his girlfriend Kathy at Borough Market with Juan from Olney. Had a couple of beers then wandered round the market and got hold of some stuff before heading back to Dads and then off to Olney in Juan's car. Arrived at Kevin and Jackies before promptly leaving and going to a beer and sausage festival!!!!!!! Best festival ever!

Today was wicked. Woke up with a bastard heacache that was quickly cured with a swift fruit bungalow and a cup of tea and a shower. Then the BBQ started up, as did the drinking. 8 cans if Guinness later, as you can imagine, i'm quite a state. I'll be surprised if there are numerous errors in this post tbh

This Weekend

Was really rather good. Tried to work yesterday, but failed miserably cos Viki came over. We went for a walk. Which was disgustingly stereotypically romantic of me but nevertheless quite a lot of fun. Chelsea got knocked out fo the FA Cup. GET IN!!!!! Shame Arsenal didnt beat the filthy Tottenham scum but meh, cant have it every way.

Today has mostly been spent working but I feel relieved to have accomplished a large amount of work. Finished my German Oral work today. *is happy*. And did the french that was due on Friday. Didnt do my politics but i cant do EVERYTHING round here. Oh well.

 Love you all
