My life in the last month

I have done the following new things:

1) Cooked viki a meal. I think she liked it.

2) Seen Seth Lakeman live-Awesome

3) Seen Regina Spektor live-Awesome also

4) Seen Russell Brand live-Funny as fuck.

5) Sent someone flowers…

6) Actually had a valentine…

7) been happy.

I have done the following old things:

1) Played in the snow with Emm.

2) Ummm…

3) that’s about it.

Hmm. Like most things at the moment, I don’t know why i did this. It just felt like the right thing to do. I lack an aim again. Oh well. FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! I don’t know why i typed that. What is the fucking point, you know what I mean? This whole fucking world is fucked. Too many problems for anyone to deal with. Latest is that people want to ban cluster bombs. A great idea, and one that I am extremely proud to say that this country supports. Cluster bombs are indiscrimate and dangerous weapons. The aerial equivalent of a flamethrower. But the US doesn’t care about that. God, I fucking hate that country. I mean, there’s retarded, and then there’s American. Serisously. I can’t even articulate how much I loathe that one nation. I was learning recently (steady on!) about what US political commentators call “iron triangles”. And they’re where all the power lies. Lobbyists and administration officials and members of congressional committees team up in what appears to be one big session of mutual fellatio, in order to maintain the status quo. And the main example of this abhorrent system is the military industry complex. Members of Congress keep defence spending up, so the companies can get fucking heaps and heaps on money and then its the administrations job to find places to fire these fucking lovely new bombs, and send these new planes, and kill more innocent people, who are only in the army because they can’t afford another profession. I don’t know about you, but knowing that makes me want to take a gun to my head. What is the point?

But if we ignore that MASSIVE FUCKING ELEPHANT in the room that makes my life a misery, I’m alrite, ta, thanks for asking. I am in love with the girl of my dreams, and I have some fucking quality friends, who I really do love. “They say the family of the 21st century is made up of friends not relatives” I think I have the best family around.

WOOOT!!!! NO PARENTS!!!!

In case you didn’t know, my parents have been away in Belgium (yawn) since monday, and I’ve been alone since then. Well almost. A certain someone may have been here everyday to look after me and do a lil bit of cooking. She thinks I’m lying, but that meal was genuinely lovely. Chicken breast (hehe breast) stuffed with feta cheese and peppers with cous-cous. DELISH!!!!
So yeah, been living wothout my parents since Monday. Sorry I didn’t invite people over, but I couldn’t be bothered to clean up after some über-party. “But,” I hear you cry, “whatever did you do with yourself?” Well, the old parents left early monday morning. I got up about 12 and went to the shop to buy some Canada Dry, as I learnt that it’s lush mixed with jäger. Viki came over at about 4 o’clock and we did some pasta for dinner. Tuesday was pretty uneventful. Went to my Grandma’s for dinner and got back here at about 9 and we were quickly down to the pub!!! Which was quality. Allowed us to have a nice long chat about everything and makes me love her that little bit more. Today, I had poached egg on toast for breakfast, then we went down to Tescos, so Viki could buy the ingriedients for the GORGEOUES dinner she cooked for me. When we got back, we sat down and watched Downfall (possibly my favourit film ever). Then the cooking began, and I was made a meal of wonderful taste. After a couple of hours hanging around not doing much, we went to the pub and had a couple of drinks, before getting back just in time for Viki to gather up her things before her mum came to pick her up. Then I made myself a pizza for breakfast tomoro!!!! Which will be greatly enjoyed.
On a slightly different note, I have concluded that I very much like the new My Chemical Romance single. Kudos to them.

Post no. 20 – Not a highlights package

So I’ve reached post no. 20 on this wonderful on wordpress.com blog. I think there are more posts on here than I have had on any other site of this nature. Which is impressive, in my humble opinion.
I haven’t posted on here in time (apologies for the chav language, i am trying to curb my habit), so this will serve as an update to anyone who cares about my life, and he life of those around me. I’m currently at school, in M4 with Jim, Joe and Mole, trying to avoid exploding in a rant at Joe about just how rubbish beatdown is. UGH! Life, however, has been good to me recently, and everyday I find myself falling deeper and deeper in love. With………… MARZIPAN!!!!!! OH! MY! GOD! I knew i liked the almond based icing product before but I have truly and deply fallen for it. Especially as part of a chocolate fondue. Oh, and i’ve fallen in love with viki. But that’s not important :P
On top of this, Borderville have finally put music up on their myspace profile. Check it out here.

My first non-world cup post for a while

I’ve looked back and realised that my last 5 or so posts have been dedicated entirely to the world cup and nothing else. None of the other wonderous joys in my life have been even slightky mentioned

Firstly, i’ve no been going out with Viki for 3 months!!!!!! SCORE!!!! I’m shocked, I thought she’d have realised I’m a loser by now, but it hasnt happened.

Secondly, I HAVE THE NEW MUSE ALBUM!!!!! OMGZZZZZZ!!! It is absolutely awesome. Reccommend tracks include “starlight” “assassin” and “knights of cydonia”.

Spent earlier today in the Tesco’s cafe with kez, jen and their friend Sandy. Jen + Woody=AWWWWW!!!

Looking back at this post, it’s pathetic, just how dull my little life is. Oh well

Morrissey!!!!!!!!

OH. MY. GOD.

Never in the history of human music, has anyone put on a show quite like that man, Morrissey. Simply awesome. Awesome. Ran through the good stuff off the new album ("You Have Killed Me" "At Last I Am Born" "I Will See You In Far Off Places" "Life Is A Pigsty" "In The Future When All's Well"), couple with the best 2 tracks off the previous album "You Are The Quarry" ("First Of The Gang To Die" "Irish Blood, English Heart" (which was his encore)) and, much to my vocal pleasure, some classic Smiths songs, including "How Soon Is Now?", most definitely my favourite Smiths song, "Girlfriend In A Coma", and "Still Ill". Just an amazing, amazing evening. Thanks to Cath, for coming along with me, and to all the people we met and saw, especially the drunk guy who rolled up in front of me and sang along with us during the last verse of "How Soon Is Now?". Just awesome.

Since last time i posted. Have definitely got over Arsenal's loss. Mainly cos Henry signed a new contract. HOORAY!

In other news, went out on Saturday night to see the rather wonderful Decemberists. Put on an awesome show, well supported by Howling Bells. Thanks to Tom and Alice for letting me come along. And to Viki for letting me stay on Saturday night. Sorry i kept you up most of the night. Not in that way, anyone who wasnt there.

Sundays are always dull. Especially when you're really tired. And need to do revision. Like i did . Still, Top Gear was funny.

And today was dull. ALthough i did sleep off my tiredness after saturday night.
