Hmm. Like most things at the moment, I don’t know why i did this. It just felt like the right thing to do. I lack an aim again. Oh well. FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! I don’t know why i typed that. What is the fucking point, you know what I mean? This whole fucking world is fucked. Too many problems for anyone to deal with. Latest is that people want to ban cluster bombs. A great idea, and one that I am extremely proud to say that this country supports. Cluster bombs are indiscrimate and dangerous weapons. The aerial equivalent of a flamethrower. But the US doesn’t care about that. God, I fucking hate that country. I mean, there’s retarded, and then there’s American. Serisously. I can’t even articulate how much I loathe that one nation. I was learning recently (steady on!) about what US political commentators call “iron triangles”. And they’re where all the power lies. Lobbyists and administration officials and members of congressional committees team up in what appears to be one big session of mutual fellatio, in order to maintain the status quo. And the main example of this abhorrent system is the military industry complex. Members of Congress keep defence spending up, so the companies can get fucking heaps and heaps on money and then its the administrations job to find places to fire these fucking lovely new bombs, and send these new planes, and kill more innocent people, who are only in the army because they can’t afford another profession. I don’t know about you, but knowing that makes me want to take a gun to my head. What is the point?
But if we ignore that MASSIVE FUCKING ELEPHANT in the room that makes my life a misery, I’m alrite, ta, thanks for asking. I am in love with the girl of my dreams, and I have some fucking quality friends, who I really do love. “They say the family of the 21st century is made up of friends not relatives” I think I have the best family around.
A couple of posts back, I mentioned that it was my birthday. In between then and now, I have done many exciting things to celebrate. Here is a brief recount of said celebrations.
4th of November was spent in Hackney, watching that master of comedy, Ross Noble, Esq.. He truly is a genius, and it was a brilliant show. When we got there. The traffic in Watford was so bad I’m not going to even BEGIN to talk about it. It was a ghastly experience. Well worth the wait though. Thank you to Viki, Oli, Sam and my beloved mother for coming with me, I do believe we had a fantastic evening. And one thing to anyone who was there: A BUMFACED CHILD!!! BEING BUMMED IN THE FACE!!!
Second on the item was my birthday present from Viki. Tickets to see the one and only….
MUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And OH MY GOD they were good. So good I didnt even notice what they were playing, only that it sounded awesome. And that Matt Bellamy can make an hour and 40 minutes seem like 20 seconds. I didn’t want it to end. What made the evening perfect, though, was that i got to spend it with the one I love…
Finally, on Saturday I had a little party. Not many people that regular readers of this blog would know, but Viki, Becci, Cath, Sam and Rob were there and we ended up having a nice little evening, drinking wine and having a good old chat, during which the topic of mine and Viki’s marriage was mooted!!! A tad premature, methinks.
Overall, I did some really great things for my birthday. I’d like to thank everyone who came, they made those things what they were. I’d particularly like to thank Viki. Without her there, none of those things would have been half as good.
Take care yourselves

OH. MY. GOD.
Never in the history of human music, has anyone put on a show quite like that man, Morrissey. Simply awesome. Awesome. Ran through the good stuff off the new album ("You Have Killed Me" "At Last I Am Born" "I Will See You In Far Off Places" "Life Is A Pigsty" "In The Future When All's Well"), couple with the best 2 tracks off the previous album "You Are The Quarry" ("First Of The Gang To Die" "Irish Blood, English Heart" (which was his encore)) and, much to my vocal pleasure, some classic Smiths songs, including "How Soon Is Now?", most definitely my favourite Smiths song, "Girlfriend In A Coma", and "Still Ill". Just an amazing, amazing evening. Thanks to Cath, for coming along with me, and to all the people we met and saw, especially the drunk guy who rolled up in front of me and sang along with us during the last verse of "How Soon Is Now?". Just awesome.
